A Basic page starts off with an html tag to tell the computer that is what language you are using a beginning tag at the beginning and an end tag at the very end.

Then there is a heading - where you put the title (in between title tags) and other commands like descriptions, keywords for search engines, and references if needed.

The body tags are next and show where you put what you want to show up.

Did you notice that end tags have a slash mark ? All tags have the < > symbols. Beginning tags hold commands, end tags have a slash that signifies ending.

Try typing a title in between title tags - right now it says Untitled

The body tag itself is where you can choose the colors for the page.

* Notice there is a space in between commands, but not in the command.

You can also add commands inside the tag for the margins,
but we will keep it simple for now.
